Another form of art my sister and I enjoy is video editing. We have put together a couple of short videos that help us bring to you the magic of the mini reef. The first one, Flash of Fire, is a unique 3 minute film showing a mated pair of mandarin gobies courting in all their glory. I was able to capture this during the day, and I have only seen them court one other time during the day. The second film, Reef Magic, is a 5 minute film capturing the life of the fish and invertebrates in a reef tank, ending with the magical dance of the mandarins typically seen in the evenings. Please know, the true colors of the madarins are closer to the photo below than the video. We hope you enjoy these films as much as we do.
